Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you will deliver compassionate care to patients and help ensure safe, accurate medication dispensing in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. You will work to provide high-quality service to patients and customers while adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies. This role supports the team by managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to fill prescriptions promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support timely, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Demonstrate core values of Accountability, Caring, Collaboration, Innovation and Integrity in daily work.
- Complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy state Board of Pharmacy registration, licensing and certification requirements where applicable.
- Operate in compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Assist patients with prescription-related questions and provide guidance within the scope of practice.
- Initially have duties restricted by management until all requirements are satisfied, with opportunities to expand responsibilities over time.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
Education
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $19.81 - $29.81
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
