Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years old
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position

Desired Qualifications:

• Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk
• EPRN familiarity

Responsibilities include:

• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations and identify unsafe conditions
• Understand and perform ordering functions with wholesalers
• Manage inventory and control medications, devices, and supplies
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas
• Count, measure, and prepare products following best practices
• Complete billing procedures accurately
• Answer phones and assist customers
• Adhere to company policies on coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines
• Operate the cash register following all policies to prevent loss
• Provide excellent customer service while accurately completing reception, data entry, and product dispensing
• Assist pharmacists, excluding tasks requiring professional judgment
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Support health and wellness initiatives
• Manage legend orders and deliveries
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments and manage conflicts professionally
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
