Job summary

JCW Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-growing pharmacy team. The role involves aseptic manipulations and preparing CSPs in an ISO 5 cleanroom, in full compliance with batch records, cGMP, and USP standards.

Responsibilities include working with laminar hoods, compiling batch records, IV bag injections, syringe filling, labeling, and cross-functional collaboration to meet quality and regulatory goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Texas (TSBP) or CPhT certification required.
• ACPE sterile products certification preferred.
• IV compounding experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of 21 CFR 210/211 and USP standards.

Houston, TX | 1st Shift Mon-Fri 6:00 am – 2:30 pm | 2nd Shift Mon – Thur 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm

A growing sterile compounding pharmacy is hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician. This role will perform aseptic manipulations and sterile compounding techniques in an ISO 5 cleanroom environment, preparing Compounded Sterile Products (CSPs) in full compliance with batch records, cGMP regulations, and USP standards.

• Compound sterile preparations accurately per batch record requirements
• Execute sterile techniques including IV bag injections, syringe filling, and vial pooling
• Complete batch records using good documentation practices
• Maintain and clean the compounding room per SOPs and regulatory standards
• Label and package finished products
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet departmental quality and compliance goals

Requirements:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Texas (TSBP) and/or CPhT certification
• ACPE sterile products certification
• IV compounding experience preferred (3 years pharmacy technician experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of 21 CFR 210/211 and USP compounding standards
• Ability to work full shifts in a bunny suit and goggles
