Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Pharmacy Tech for our premier client in Horsham, PA. The Tech works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, assisting with prepackaging and the final review of medications for dispensing and delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, ensuring a clean, calibrated work environment, and assisting in the accurate preparation of prescriptions. Full benefits and a 401(k) are provided.

• Maintains inventory by receiving and rotating medications and supplies, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting in physical inventory.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment, checks equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness.
• Fills prescriptions under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and assists in final checking and preparation.

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Pharmacy Tech for our premier client Horsham, PA.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards. Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory. Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares
