Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is hiring a Pharmacy Tech for our Worthington, OH client. You will support a licensed Pharmacist, handle prescriptions, and assist in IV preparation and dispensing in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Under supervision, you will help with inventory, data entry for reimbursements, and ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Management in maintaining good inventory practices including receiving and rotating medications and supplies.
• Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares IV
• Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Job Responsibilities

• Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer. Assists Pharmacy
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
