Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group is hiring a Pharmacy Tech for our premier client in Wilkes Barre, PA. The role involves entering prescription data, obtaining reimbursement payments, and assisting in prepackaging medications under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

The position emphasizes accurate data handling, inventory practices, and collaboration with Pharmacy Management to ensure timely delivery of medications to customers.

Qualifications

• Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment.
• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards.

Responsibilities

• Stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating delivery to the customer.
• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices including receiving and rotating medications and supplies, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting in physical inventory.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
