Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Tech in Greensburg, PA. The role supports the pharmacist by filling prescriptions, assisting with medication prep, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include data entry for billing and reimbursement, ensuring safety and cleanliness in the work environment, and collaborating with the supervisor to meet compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining inventory practices, receiving and rotating medications and supplies, posting lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Fills prescriptions under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and prepares medications for dispensing.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment in cooperation with the Technician Supervisor.

Education and Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment. Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
