Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is hiring a pharmacy technician for a long-term care setting. You will work under supervision to maintain floor stock, prepack medications, and ship orders while adhering to pharmacy standards. The role supports a team and requires KY licensing with strong organizational skills.

The position offers an evening shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, a schedule including some weekends, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed with the KY Board of Pharmacy required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Ensure pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities
