Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is hiring a Pharmacy Technician. You will prepare and distribute medications, assist with sterile compounding, and help manage inventory across the organization. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to patient safety.

You will support pharmacy services, deliver meds to care areas, and maintain records in compliance with guidelines. Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional development and growth

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support pharmacy services through medication preparation, inventory management, distribution activities, and patient-centered service.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and distribute medications in accordance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Assist with sterile compounding activities while maintaining established quality and safety standards.

Replenish automated dispensing systems and medication storage areas to ensure medication availability throughout the organization.

Manage pharmacy inventory and supplies by monitoring stock levels, rotating inventory, and assisting with purchasing and replenishment activities.

Deliver medications and pharmacy supplies to patient care areas in a timely and accurate manner.

Support medication distribution processes and assist with pharmacy operations to promote efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain pharmacy records, medication inventories, and required documentation according to organizational, state, and federal guidelines.

Assist pharmacists with operational, clerical, and medication-related activities as permitted by scope of practice.

Support medication safety initiatives that promote quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.

Education, Certifications & Licensure

Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.

Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.

BLS certification not required unless assigned to a role requiring direct patient care responsibilities.

Ongoing competency validation and continuing education maintained as required.
