Responsibilities
- Live our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation (production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, drop‑off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care. Serve patients at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and over the phone, offer immunizations and other services, and resolve or elevate patient problems.
- Perform inventory activities such as accurately putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks, and waiting bin inventories as directed by pharmacy leadership.
- Work collaboratively in a high‑performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
- Remain flexible for scheduling needs and voluntarily travel to other stores as required by the business.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and professional standards. Follow CVS policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy and correct controlled‑substance dispensing and record‑keeping.
- Deliver additional patient health services where allowable by law, such as immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and voluntary staffing of off‑site clinics.
Immunization Support (if applicable)
- Obtain Technician Immunizer status by completing required licensure and training.
- Educate patients about vaccines and refer complex vaccination inquiries to the pharmacist on duty.
- Monitor and respond to adverse reactions; report events per public health requirements.
- Track and document vaccine supplies for each patient.
- Maintain updated patient immunization records.
Required Qualifications
- Meet state board of pharmacy requirements including age, education, and licensure/certification.
- Must be at least 16 years old if not mandated otherwise by the board.
- Must hold or be pursuing a high school diploma or equivalency if not mandated otherwise.
- State‑level licensure and national certification must be maintained as mandated.

Preferred Qualifications
- 1‑3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in a retail, medical, or customer‑service setting.
- Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs.
Anticipated Weekly Hours
10 hours per week.

Part‑time
Pay Range
$16.00 - $24.00 per hour (base hourly rate). The actual offer depends on experience and other factors.
