Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred or prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication with customers and staff; leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Keep lines of communication open with Facilities Coordinator and Pharmacist Manager.
• Manage pharmacy technicians from a team-oriented perspective.
• Train or delegate training on cycle and daily filling, labeling, MARs and delivery lists.
• Locate, count, package and label prescription drugs accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Utilize robotic machines and accompanying software to check medications for accuracy.
• Assist with inventory, placing orders, stock shelves, and removing out-of-date items.
• Manage scheduling for technicians and supervise inventory processes.
• Lead Data Entry Team to input patient data and medication orders accurately.
• Collaborate with other department coordinators to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
