Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our hospital pharmacy operations in Minneapolis. You will prepackage, label, and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, while maintaining accurate records and efficient cash handling.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, MN Pharmacy Technician registration or intern license, and preferred certification (PTCB/ExCPT). Office procedures and EMR experience are a plus.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current MN Pharmacy Technician registration or intern license required within 1 year of hire.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited Technician program or 1,000 hours experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer phones for the pharmacy and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepackage, label, and hand out prescriptions after pharmacist check.
• Maintain cash registers and reporting for cash transactions.
• Stock inventory and manage medications across the pharmacy.
• Enter outpatient prescriptions into the EMR system.
