Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is seeking a Pharmacy Tech (Shift Differential) to support a premier client in Wilkes Barre, PA. You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, filling prescriptions, preparing medications, and assisting with final checks.

You will help manage inventory, ensure calibration and cleanliness, and coordinate timely delivery to customers while benefiting from full medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Tech duties performed under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Accurate filling and preparation of prescriptions and packaging for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions and packaging.
• Support inventory practices, enter lot numbers and expiration dates, and rotate stock.
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.

Pharmacy Tech (Shift Differential)

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Pharmacy Tech (Shift Differential) for our premier client in Wilkes Barre, PA

Primary Location

Wilkes Barre, PA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
• Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.

• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.
