Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is seeking a Pharmacy Tech for Wilkes-Barre, PA. This role supports the pharmacist by filling prescriptions and preparing medications under direct supervision.

You will assist in inventory control, post lot numbers and expiration dates, and help ensure accurate final checks and timely delivery to customers.

The position offers full benefits, 401(k), and competitive compensation, with shift differential where applicable.

Pharmacy Tech (Shift Differential)

Primary Location: Wilkes Barre, PA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
• Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.
