Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our premier client in Wilkes-Barre, PA. You will work under a Registered Pharmacist, assisting with data entry, packaging, and delivery coordination to customers.

Responsibilities include assisting in inventory practices, labeling, lot numbers, and supporting the Pharmacy Management team to maintain a safe work environment and equipment calibration. This role is on-site in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Qualifications

• Experience entering data to fill prescriptions under supervision.
• Understanding of inventory practices and medication lot numbers.

Responsibilities

• Stating medications for final pharmacist review and packaging after review; coordinate delivery to customers.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment; verify equipment calibration and cleanliness.

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Pharmacy Tech for our premier client Wilkes Barre, PA

Primary Location

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment. Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards

Job Responsibilities

• which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer. Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
