Supports the mission of the department by ensuring that the right patients receive the right medication in a safe and timely manner under the direct supervision of an inpatient pharmacist and the Director of Pharmacy. In addition to assisting the pharmacist in the preparation of medications, this position will be responsible for managing various technology and non-technology projects of the department. In particular, this position will assist with the implementation of a point-of-care bedside verification system, including ensuring that all products dispensed from the Pharmacy have a bar code that is readable by the system used on the nursing units. This position will manage other projects as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
