Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in our retail stores. You will assist pharmacists, manage prescriptions, and help deliver a safe, positive patient experience across the store’s pharmacy services.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, handling immunizations where permitted, maintaining inventory, and providing compassionate customer service. Training and state licensure requirements apply; periodic travel to market stores may be required.

Qualifications

• Must meet state board requirements for pharmacy practice, including licensure/certification where applicable
• Age requirements may require 16+ depending on state rules
• High school diploma or equivalent is required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Maintain patient safety through accurate prescription labeling and dispensing
• Provide empathetic customer service and support pharmacy team
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Perform accurate inventory tasks and labeling
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed
• Follow all federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing when trained
