Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service in our Retail stores. You will work with pharmacists to ensure operations run smoothly, from inventory to customer interactions, while complying with regulatory requirements.

This part-time role includes immunization responsibilities where permitted, and requires a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, licensure/certification
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• If no minimum education is mandated, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in school
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic, personal patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Assist with inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed
• Support the pharmacy team and be open to feedback and cross-store coverage
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed
