Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision, per state/federal regulations and company policies.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems; enter patient and drug information and verify accuracy.
• Assist customers with products and services and deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Support cash handling and operate the cash register; guide customers to OTC aisles as needed.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, stocking, and coordination of clinical services.
