Job summary

Quality Food Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, assist with dispensing, and ensure a safe, compliant patient experience. You will handle reception, data entry, and medication dispensing steps while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with health and wellness services, CLIA-waived screenings, and non-dispensing tasks. Strong customer service and confidentiality are essential, with adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory

Qualifications

Customer service and HIPAA compliant interactions with customers/patients.
Ability to handle highly confidential information.
Completion of national registration, certification or licensure as required by state.
High school diploma or GED and legal eligibility to work.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgment.
Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps.
Support non-dispensing services using available platforms and applications.
Perform CLIA-waived screenings in accordance with state and federal law and company policy.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow company policies on privacy and safety.
Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
