Job summary

Quality Food Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting. You will assist pharmacists while maintaining HIPAA compliance, managing data entry, and ensuring accurate dispensing within state regulations.

Based in Washington, this role requires a current registration or licensure where applicable and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• National registration, certification or licensure completed.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain current registration/certification as required by state regulations.
• Assist pharmacists in duties not requiring their professional judgement.
• Provide exceptional customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing tasks.
• Support training of clerks and technicians.
• Prepare compounded medications in accordance with state rules.
• Perform post‑fill audits to verify prescription information against records.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and tools.
• Conduct CLIA‑waived screenings in line with state/federal laws and policies.
• Provide additional health/wellness services allowed by regulatory bodies.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
