Northside Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support the pharmacy team in Atlanta, GA. You will assist the Pharmacist with filling, compounding, dispensing physician orders, and ensuring accurate medication delivery to patients.

Ideal candidates have GA Pharmacy Technician registration and at least one year of experience. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work 8:00 am–4:30 pm with no weekend or on-call duties.

• Must be registered as Pharmacy Technician in Georgia.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Work Hours:

8am-4:30pm
