Job summary

Express Scripts Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, seeks a Quality Response Team member in Indiana. You will monitor automation lanes, respond to quality issues, research medication events, and collaborate across departments to maintain high quality and productivity.

Shift is 2:30pm–11pm EST, Mon–Fri, with on-site duties. The role requires 3+ years as a Pharmacy Technician, Indiana license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ year(s) relevant working experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in a pharmacy dispensing setting is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Indiana.
• General PC knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor automation lanes and support bottle spotting teams to identify potential quality issues with automated dispensing.
• Respond to floor calls for quality related issues in pharmacy including automation, manual dispensing, warehouse, and packing departments.
• Research patient medication events.
• Collaborate with all departments and research operational issues that can impact building operation and quality.
• Research in house quality events and report findings to Director of Pharmacy Practice and relevant departments.
• Document and manage quality audit process for all departments/shifts.
• Assist in development, documentation, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist in training/development of other team members.
• Demonstrate leadership quality consistent with Cigna Values.
