Piedmont Augusta Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Tech - IV Room (PRN) to support admixtures for IV solutions and chemotherapy, prepare unit dose syringes, and compound medications used in critical care and OR areas. The role ensures stock levels are maintained and adheres to procedures and regulatory guidelines.

The technician will collaborate with pharmacy and technical staff to define best practices and perform duties as a Pharmacy Technician as needed, supporting patient care across the Augusta

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire required.
• PTCB Certification preferred.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• PTCB Certification Preferred
