Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform IV admixtures and prepare unit-dose syringes and chemotherapy medications in critical care and OR satellite areas.

The role involves compounding medications, maintaining stock, and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations. Collaboration with pharmacy and clinical staff is essential for best practice.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician (PHRMTECH-R) required upon hire.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• PTCB Certification Preferred
