Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a Pharmacy Technician IV to prepare IV admixtures, unit-dose syringes and chemotherapy medications for critical care and OR satellite areas. The role requires maintaining stock levels and following standard procedures under state and federal regulations.

Experience with IV admixtures is preferred and a current Pharmacy Technician license is required upon hire. This is a full-time position based in Cartersville, GA.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician (PHRMTECH-R) required on hire.
• PTCB Certification preferred.

Works with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice. Functions in duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.
