Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Pharmacy Technician I under pharmacist supervision to fill orders, pre-package, and manage stock while delivering medications. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB or NHA certification required.
• Training in pharmacy law, practice standards, terminology, pharmacy math, drug preparation, dosage forms, and trade/generic names.
• Successful completion of PHS Sterile Products Compounding Competency.
• At least one year of experience in pharmacy or completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.

Responsibilities

• Meets and demonstrates competency in all Pharmacy Technician I requirements.
• Completes required training and maintains competency in sterile and nonsterile medication preparation, pediatric sterile preparation, and controlled substance inventory.
• Ensures compliance with the department's Controlled Substances Compliance Plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
