Cook Children\'s Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in providing patient-centered services at the Retail Pharmacy. The position offers varying shifts, 8-hour days, and weekend rotations, with a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities include clerical work such as recording and filing, plus technical tasks after gaining competency, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

• High School or Equivalent Required.
• Must have minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience with proficiency in medication preparation and dosage calculations, insurance processing, and inventory management.
• A basic knowledge of math, the metric system, chemistry, and medical terminology is essential.
• A general knowledge of office procedures such as filling and record keeping is essential.
• Good telephone skills and good oral and written communication skills are essential.

Summary:

SCHEDULE: Varying shifts; 8 hours in length. Scheduling hours are between 7:30am-midnight and will include weekend rotations.
