Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in delivering professional pharmacy services to patients and staff at the Cook Children's Retail Pharmacy and the community we serve. The role includes clerical duties such as recording, filing and reporting, with technical tasks performed under supervision after gaining experience.

Required education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, plus basic math, chemistry, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent Required.
• Basic knowledge of math, the metric system, chemistry, and medical terminology is essential.
• General knowledge of office procedures such as filing and record keeping is essential.
• Good telephone skills and good oral and written communication skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacists in providing professional pharmacy services to patients and staff.
• Perform clerical tasks including recording, filing and reporting pharmacy activities and services.
• Carry out technical tasks after gaining experience under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
