Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. The pharmacist provides professional pharmaceutical services to patients, healthcare providers and hospital staff, and verifies and dispenses medications to ensure safe, optimal therapy outcomes.

Shifts vary to cover mornings, evenings and weekends; 24/7/365 operations supported. Texas pharmacist licensure or eligibility, ACPE-accredited education, and BLS certification are required.

Formación

• Graduate from an American Council on Pharmacy Education accredited school of pharmacy.
• Texas Pharmacist Licensure or eligible for licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.

Summary:

SCHEDULE: Varying depending on department needs; operating hours are 24/7, 365 days a year. While mornings and evenings are our main need, Pool could support outside of these times. Weekends/holiday rotations are also included.

The pharmacist provides professional pharmaceutical services to patients, healthcare providers, and hospital staff. The pharmacist ensures safe, optimal pharmaceutical therapy outcomes through the verification and dispensing of medication. All activities are done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations with the health and welfare of the patient paramount.

Education:

Graduate from an American Council on Pharmacy Education accredited school of pharmacy.

Certification/Licensure:

Texas Pharmacist License or eligible for Texas Licensure as a registered pharmacist.

Pharmacist licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
