Job summary

Southcoast Health seeks a Pharmacist at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA to support clinical review of patient drug therapy and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will join an evening/night shift with every 3rd weekend and assigned holidays, with a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care and professional growth within a not-for-profit health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required and MA Board of Registration license required.
• Over 1 year of related experience preferred; new graduates considered for role.
• Must be fully vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption with documented signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical review of patient drug therapy and provide direction for assigned personnel.
• Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws/regulations.
• Support pharmacy services and contribute to clinical decisions as directed by Pharmacy Services leadership.

We are searching for a talented Pharmacist

Hours: 24 flex 32hrs

Shift: Evening/Night shift, 6:00am - 12:00am with every 3rd weekend and assigned holidays

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Director of Pharmacy Services or Designee, perform a variety of professional services and responsibilities related to the clinical review of patient drug therapy, knowledgeable of computer applications, pertinent state and federal law/regulations and provide immediate direction and supervision of assigned personnel.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a five year Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Pharmacy is required.
• Must be a Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
• Over one year related experience preferred.
• Consideration given to new graduates.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $55.24 - USD $69.56 /Hr.
