Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to perform technical duties under the supervision of a pharmacist, including compounding and dispensing medications and maintaining inventory and patient records. Minimum education: High School Graduate; license: State Board of Pharmacy Registration.

Preferred ASHP Sterile Preparation Certification or similar PTCB certification. One year of related pharmacy tech experience required; three months sterile compounding experience

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Graduate/Equivalent
• Required License: State Board of Pharmacy Registration
• Preferred License: ASHP Sterile Preparation Institutional Training Certification or Similar PTCB Certification
• Required Experience: 1 year of related pharmacy tech experience
• Preferred Experience: 3 months sterile product compounding experience
