Job summary

CarePartners in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the department by accurately preparing medications for patient dispensing and maintaining records to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service and an organized, efficient workflow in the pharmacy, while demonstrating MERIT standards of performance. The schedule is 9:30am-6pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating holidays and occasional weekends when weekend staff takes PTO.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Education: Associate's degree in Pharmacy Technology
• Required License: Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire AND Active status as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (as credentialed by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)
• Required Experience: At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience or completion of an Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology
• Preferred Experience: At least 4 years of pharmacy technician experience
