Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the pharmacy technician team lead and pharmacists, the pharmacy technician II is responsible for preparing unit dose medications, compounding sterile preparations, and delivering medication to patient care units.
Responsibilities:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years pharmacy-related experience Required
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent Required
20-hour ACPE accredited IV training course Preferred
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Required
National Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Preferred
