Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy, housed within Boomer Solutions of Tulsa, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to enter and process prescriptions, triage faxes, and support accurate dispensing. You will interact with customers by phone, verify dosages, and maintain precise records in the pharmacy systems.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, pharmacy tech license, and 2+ years of related experience. Shifts are Mon-Fri 3pm-12am with rotating weekends; opportunities to grow within a supportive Guardian family

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required where state dictates.
Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required; National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
2+ years of related experience; advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; strong attention to detail.
Ability to solve problems with minimal direction; team-oriented when needed.

Responsibilities

Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
Provide courteous customer service when responding to calls and routes as appropriate.
Complete all prescribed processing within regular shift and meet delivery deadlines.
Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems and workflow.
