  • Certified Pharmacy Technician credential (PTCB) or eligible within 45 days of hire; Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and retrieve information from patient profiles/databases.
  • Prepare and affix labels for medications.
  • Stock dangerous drugs and retrieve from inventory.
  • Count and pour dangerous drugs into containers.
  • Handle dangerous drugs prior to dispensing by a pharmacist.
  • Sterile and non-sterile compounding after site-specific training.
  • Stock automated storage systems, floor stock and crash carts.
