Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for PRN support in the Pharmacy department. Under supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacists, you will help prepare, dispense, and document medication processes within the health care system.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfort with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work as a team and adapt to scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Possess good interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to read and write printed material in English.
• Proficiency with computer keyboard operations and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to compute simple algebraic ratios, volume/volume percentage and weight/volume percentage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, distribution, and documentation of medication processes within the health care system.
• Work under direct supervision of Pharmacy leaders and pharmacists.
• Troubleshoot pharmacy equipment and systems with training.
