Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Pharmacy Technician, Non-Certified to support pharmacists with prescription processing, insurance billing, inventory, and customer service in our store pharmacy. You will work toward national certification, handle prescription entry, labeling, and helping patients, while learning in a fast-paced retail environment that values accuracy, compassion, and teamwork.

High school diploma is required; progress toward certification and vaccination certification as applicable is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working toward licensed technician certification through a certified national program required.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy clerk preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service in the pharmacy
• Assist pharmacists in processing prescriptions and insurance billing
• Maintain patient information for prescriptions and prepare labels
• Help with inventory and ordering of pharmacy supplies
• Contribute to accuracy and efficiency in dispensing under supervision
