Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team, working alongside Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists to ensure medicines are provided safely across hospital, vaccination centre and other NHS sites.

The role involves dispensing, stock control, vaccine services and ward support. Training towards SVQ in Pharmacy Services (SCQF Level 6) will be provided; PVG checks apply, with a focus on safe, respectful patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 National 5s including English, Mathematics and a science subject.
• Training will be provided for the role.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and distribute medications accurately within the hospital and NHS sites.
• Stock management and dispensing of medicines.
• Vaccine service and ward top-up support.
