Job summary

The Boots Company PLC in the UK is seeking a pharmacy dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You’ll support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and advise patients on medicines, helping ensure safe, compliant service.

This role is based in-store in the UK with no remote applicants; NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or first year of MPharm is preferred, and you must have UK right to work. Benefits include staff discounts and flexible benefits, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Work with healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
