Job summary

ArtesRx is seeking a Pharmacy Support Specialist to obtain and process prescriptions, enabling the pharmacy fulfillment team to dispense safely and efficiently. You will communicate with patients, facilities, and prescribers, enter data, and support billing and delivery processes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and teamwork within a regulated pharmacy environment, with opportunities to work on REMS-related requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Active pharmacy technician licensure in state(s) of jurisdiction.
National certification is highly preferred.
One year experience in a pharmacy setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate by phone and email with patients, facilities, payors, and prescribers regarding prescriptions.
Enter prescription information and submit claims for payment.
Assist in prior authorization processes to expedite fulfillment.
Manage patient profiles and demographics for billing and dispensing.
Coordinate medication deliveries and respond to questions about medications.
Monitor incoming documents to expedite processing and ensure accuracy.
