Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support day-to-day operations in the Pharmacy department. You will assist customers, stock and order supplies, handle cash transactions, and help maintain a clean, efficient pharmacy area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vaccination certification may be required if vaccines are administered.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist with refill orders.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received products and keep pharmacy supplies well stocked.
• Review prescriptions not picked up and coordinate with department manager.
