Job summary

Ascension in Evansville, IN is seeking a Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Services - Sterile Compounding team on day shift. The role involves supervising daily pharmacy staff and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

You will train and coach associates, participate in hiring and terminations within your span of control, and act as a liaison with other hospital departments and external customers to optimize pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license from Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work for pharmacy staff.
• Trains, coaches, and evaluates associates on performance expectations.
• Participates in hiring and termination procedures within span of control.
• Acts as liaison between the department and other hospital departments, physicians and external customers.
• Collaborates to ensure procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state and Board of Pharmacy rules.
