Job summary

The University of California - San Diego Medical Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor for UCSD Health outpatient pharmacies, covering Hospital Discharge, Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Ambulatory Care, Employee Health, and Retail Pharmacy to ensure safe dispensing, billing, and immunization services.

The role includes supervising technicians, coordinating schedules, leading recruitment and evaluations, and collaborating with Pharmacy leadership to uphold accrediting and regulatory

Qualifications

Seven years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three years of related experience/training.
Pharmacy Technician licensed in California.

Responsibilities

Oversees outpatient pharmacy technicians and coordinates daily operations.
Manages schedules, recruiting & hiring, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
Ensures accurate billing and compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
