Job summary

UC Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician Supervisor for the Inpatient Pharmacy at UC Medical Center. The role oversees nonprofessional operations, supervises technicians, and supports pharmacists, physicians and patients. Strong leadership and regulatory compliance are required.

Under the Director of Pharmacy, you will develop staffing plans, ensure competency, and maintain SOPs while contributing to quality improvement initiatives and safe medication distribution within the hospital.

Qualifications

Education: School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in health administration or public health (MHA or MPH)
License and Certification: Current pharmacy technician registration by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Current certified technician certificate.
Years of Experience: Minimum Required: 5 Years equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, and direct operational activities within the area of responsibility.
Authenticate that all technical staff obtain and maintain certifications and/or licensures as required by state and federal law and/or UC Health policy.
Assist in development and implementation of policies/procedures or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Participate in department and hospital continuous quality improvement processes.
