Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Student to assist in inpatient and clinical pharmacy operations under the supervision of Mercy Pharmacists. Duties include IV prep, compounding, order verification, packaging, and support for clinical functions.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a pharmacy school, with internship licensure eligible, and possess basic computer skills with strong English communication. This is a PRN, on-site role with comprehensive benefits for eligible coworkers.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled in a U.S. pharmacy school recognized by the state of practice.
• Intern licensed by the state of practice or licensure eligible.
• Basic computer skills and effective English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day inpatient and clinical pharmacy operations under supervision.
• Perform IV preparation and compounding; assist with order verification and dispensing.
• Load Omnicell machines; assist with medication picking, packing, and supply management.
• Support clinical pharmacy functions and document interventions as required.
