Job summary

CirrusMD is seeking a Pharmacy Strategy and Market Intelligence Lead for a four-month remote contract. You will guide our pharmacy strategy from research to executive decisions, focusing on cost of care, value drivers, and portfolio optimization across PBM and biosimilar markets.

The role requires deep pharmacy market knowledge, competitive intelligence, and the ability to size options with data and finance partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in healthcare strategy or equivalent leadership roles.
• Experience in PBM, payer, or benefits consulting is required.
• Strong written and spoken communication for C-suite audiences.
• Knowledge of PBM economics: rebates, price, and pass-through vs. spread.
• Experience with market intelligence and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pharmacy strategy work from research to executive decisions.
• Create decision-ready frameworks and options for the executive team.
• Collaborate with data, finance, and client teams to size impact and costs.
• Develop an evidence grid and heat map of competitors and market landscape.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate landscape scans while ensuring accuracy.
