Job summary

Valor Compounding Pharmacy in Berkeley, CA seeks a Shipping Specialist to join the Customer Care team. You will package compounded medications for FedEx, coordinate pickups, and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery while providing excellent customer support.

Youbll handle branded packaging, monitor tracking, communicate with patients, and assist with related projects. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm and reports to the Lead Shipping Specialist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience and familiarity with FedEx is preferred.
• Read, understand and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Must pass drug screening, background check and pre-employment verification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package patient medications for shipment via FedEx.
• Prepare patient medications for pick-up.
• Customize packaging to meet client branding and requirements.
• Differentiate packaging for refrigerated vs. regular products.
• Communicate with patients using the tracking number and app as needed.
• Monitor FedEx tracking and update patients and facilities.
• Provide shipping updates and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain packing lists and manage packaging supplies.
• Coordinate with clients on branded packaging inventory.
• Support other departments with small projects and cross-train in Customer Care.
