• Perform all functions and duties of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Enter prescription information, search patients and prescribers, select drugs, interpret and enter prescriptions, assist with insurance billing and basic problem resolution.
• Accept customer and prescription information for processing new and refills, including refill authorizations where permitted by state law.
• Retrieve medications from inventory where permitted by state law; create prescription labels and place medications in containers.
