Responsibilities

• Perform functions of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Enter prescription information including patient and prescriber search, drug selection, and insurance billing.
• Process new and refill prescriptions and handle related data entry.
• Retrieve medications from inventory per state law.
• Create prescription labels and place medications in containers.
• Prepare paperwork related to filling prescriptions and document data in the system.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the Pharmacy department.
• Assist inventory management including order review and restocking shelves.
• Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
